Endgame by Samuel Beckett
Laughing Owl Productions presents Samuel Beckett's classic Theatre of the Absurd play, Endgame, as the inaugural production of the Company. Samuel Beckett, arguably the greatest playwright of the 20th century was a master of language and character and has a major effect of the creation of the genre Theatre of the Absurd. He rejected conventional plot structures, cause and effect, and all linear thinking in his plays. His work, Endgame particularly, examines the routines and habits of everyday life and the inexorable destiny we all face in a minimalist style. The productions is approximately 90 minutes in length and there is no intermission.
