How to Create and Fall in Love with a more Sober Life
Did you know it's possible to be even happier when you're sober than when drinking is a regular feature of life? For some people who feel that alcohol is not a huge problem but not a huge help, giving up for a bit or cutting back dramatically can be the logical answer, except it can come with a lot of concerns. The big worry is that life will be less. Less fun, less easy, less relaxed, less, well, less everything. Then there's how to socialise, how to get through a client lunch, how to dance, what to put in the hole a drink has left behind, what to say when people ask why you aren't drinking, how to unwind in the evening after a tough day, how to go on a date...
I will show you exactly how to create a life that is more fabulous and fulfilling now that booze is taking a backseat. I should know I've been sober for well over 12 years, and I really am disgustedly happy and healthy most of the time; I truly know that being more sober does not mean being more boring, having less fun or not joining in with ANYTHING.
The Workshop
During the course of the day, you'll find out how to answer annoying questions about why you're cutting back on booze, and how to handle various situations sober that booze used to make possible before.
In a very practical way, we'll look at the big picture and identify what you can add into your life to make you happy. For everyone that may well be something different one person's 'YAY' is another person's 'you've got to be kidding me'. After all, signing classes might be the very thing to make your soul happy, and you'd rather die than learn meditation. But to the next person, music does nothing for them, but give them a nice quiet mat, some candles and a few chants to work on and mmmmm.who needs booze?! They're floating in bliss ;) You will get to create your own unique road map of what an awesome and more sober life might look and feel like.
Lasting Outcomes
You'll leave with new friends and connections anything new is more fun and easier when you're not alone and very effective and easy tools to turn up the volume on the happiness in your life. Plus of course a much more positive perspective on what's possible with less booze.
