MAME: The Musical, A Concert Version "Open A New Window, Open A New Door, Travel A New Highway That's Never Been Tried Before' is the battle cry and Life Lesson that Mame Dennis imparts to her nephew, Patrick, in "MAME", the musical! 'Auntie Mame', made famous on film by Rosalind Russell's heartfelt and humorous portrayal, became a legendary Broadway 'broad' when Angela Lansbury made the role her own in the original cast of 'Mame'. On May 15, join the SCA Performing Arts Company as it presents
MAME: A Concert Version* for one night only at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. Listen to some of the best voices in the County belt out Jerry Herman's entertaining lyrics and hummable tunes as you tap your feet and hum along to such favorites as 'We Need A Little Christmas,' 'Mame,' 'My Best Girl' and 'Bosom Buddies'. * Concert Version = singers performing an entire musical while standing at microphones as concert artists.
Accompanied by live musicians, it's an evening to remember.
