Sierra Fantasy Faire
A Celebration in support of Blue Oak School - a tuition-free Waldorf-inspired public charter school, featuring music, food, adult drink, cosplay, and MORE!
The Sierra Fantasy Faire is a large scale event that combines the fun of a renaissance faire, with the added flare of a wide variety of cosplay activities! There will be local food trucks on site, beverage libations, and activities sure to please all in attendance.
Enjoy music from local and regional acts such as Pat Hull, Sofa King, Butte Folk Music Society, and Celtic Rock legends, Tempest! Visit a land of Fairy Enchantment, walk through or be transported to another time and place where fantasy reigns! All in support of a quality 501(c)3 non-profit public school.

It's also enjoyed an evolving line-up that's enabled musicianship and creativity to rise with each new member.

Cotter and Lewis form the core of the ever-evolving exploration of contemporary American songwriting and the living tradition of Celtic music called, "A Thousand Years at Sea," and are joined on this musical adventure by groove-master Isaac James on djembe and drum kit.

HALFPENCE AND HAYPENNY www.halfpenceandhaypenny.com Halfpence and Haypenny is the musical collaboration of Eva Riihiluoma and Sage Arias. With influences from Medieval Europe to the back cabins of Appalachia,the show is an auditory tour that weaves bardic storytelling with the folk traditions. Eva's vocals, described as sultry and powerful, combined with a multi instrumental array create the duo's compelling sound. Listeners often mention the feeling of being transported to another time and place. Alongside original music and compositions, the duo collects and performs the heirlooms of vintage music from Ireland, old Europe, and old time Americana. The songs range from the haunted ghosts of the old world and ballad style tales to songs of redemption and soulful revelation.

PAT HULL www.pathullmusic.com Pat Hull's lyrically and vocally charged songwriting "goes in the direction of gently reinventing the genre rather than obeying its exhausted axioms" (Deli Magazine). Pat discovered and honed his craft in Chico, CA and returned to Brooklyn in 2010. In 2011, Pat, Michael Chinworth, and Jason Beck began a collaboration that would eventually produce "Light" and "Shed Skin." His latest effort, 'In the Yellow Room,' was recorded in live time with band mates Mark Robertson and Bob Reynolds, and engineered by Peter Rodocker at Yellow Room Recording, in Portland, OR.
