Hands Free
Between strictly notated and spontaneous expression, tasty improvisation is the name of the game for this concert as Tribeca New Music continues its Artists in Residency at The Cell theater with the third of a five-concert series. This concert is a double-bill featuring The Hands Free, a new quartet (guitar/banjo, violin/mandolin, accordion/brass, and bass) led by guitarist James Moore (Dither), and soloist composer/bass clarinetist Michael Lowenstern. Both acts will be premiering new and performing recent works from their repertoire. After the 90 minute show, head to one of the many local eateries listed below.
