Rock & Roll Chair Dance with Dahlia Fatale
At the Great Burlesque Exposition everyone was talking about Dahlia Fatale, her Rock & Roll Chair Dance class, and her amazing chair routine Saturday night! Disappointed that you missed it? B.A.B.E. is delighted to welcome Dahlia Fatale all the way from Chicago to teach her incredibly popular class!
Chairs aren't just for sitting anymore! In this class we will cover how to select a chair for dancing, basic chair movement, ways to build strength for more advanced tricks and we will learn a fierce rock and roll chair dance. All skill levels are welcome.
Class is limited to only TEN students.
Dahlia Fatale is a bendy lady, burlesque dancer and teacher currently residing in the Chicago area. She began dancing as soon as she could walk and continues to study jazz, ballet, modern and contemporary dance. She made her burlesque debut in 2010 with Urban Bombshells Burlesque in Seattle, Washington as a dancer and group act choreographer. Dahlia moved to Chicago in 2012 and continued her burlesque performances. She also honed her contortion skills and performs around the city! To further body positivity and strength within and outside the burlesque community, Dahlia began teaching at Vaudezilla studios in 2012. She also performs in Vaudezilla's cabaret at Stage 773. For the past 3 years, Dahlia has been a proud performer, teacher and panelist at the Great Burlesque Expo in Boston, Massachusetts. Dahlia strives to evoke strong, personal and interesting characters with her work which intrigues audiences minds as well as their bodies, but more than anything she wants to rock your world.
