The Alphabeticians CD Release and Birthday Party
The Alphabeticians are throwing their biggest party ever! They are celebrating not only the release of their 3rd CD (Pants!), but also their 5th birthday! Since they're turning 5, they will be playing with a 5 piece band for the first time ever, joined by Scott Crabtree on drums, Matt "Tallullah's Daddy" Lynch on bass and Dan "Pointed Man" Elliott on keyboard, guitar, accordion, trumpet, blender(?). And of course there will be gifts! In fact, the band will be tossing free t-shirts into the audience (like at Blazer's games!). And they will be having a contest for the most awesome pants, so wear your finest!
The party is at Portland's favorite spot for family events, The Village Ballroom (700 NE Dekum). The doors open at 3:30, show starts at 4. Food and drinks provided by Oregon Public House. The show is organized by Woodlawn Swap n Play.
The Alphabeticians are Portland's favorite family friendly musical duo (normally), and have been entertaining kids and their grown-ups since 2010. Pants! features songs about giraffes, letters, games, food, rhyming, French and lots of other topics. Kid or adult, you won't be able to get "Evil Doctor Ladybug" out of your head. Get a copies of all their CDs at the big party!
Tickets are $5 in advance, and $7 at the door!
