Screenwriting with Terrel Seltzer: A Two Part Class!
Class Description: This class will demonstrate practical screenwriting techniques to enhance story quality and will teach industry standard screenplay format. Terrel will explain the fundamentals on organizing ideas and how those ideas will transfer from script to screen.
Students are encouraged to bring their screenplays for interactive workshops, as well as copies to share with other students. However, this is not required.
Class Highlights: - Screenplay as an Emotional Delivery System - What is your Action-Idea? - The characteristics of a Good Short Film - The differences between shorts and features - The Beginning, The Middle, and The End Instructor Bio: Terrel Seltzer has been a working screenwriter for twenty-five years, in both the Independent and Hollywood worlds. She has four produced screenplays: Chan Is Missing, Dim Sum: A Little Bit of Heart, How I Got Into College, and One Fine Day staring George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer.
