Singin' and Swingin' With Bobby D: A Tribute to Bobby Darin
Bob De Dea will be accompanied on piano by musical director, David DuVall, in this cabaret-theater concert, and staged in the style of the Las Vegas showrooms of the 1960's. An extremely versatile musician, Darin was born May 14, 1936 and performed and composed pop, rock, swing, folk and country music until his death in 1973 at age 37. Among the many Darin hits included in this May 3rd show are: "Mack The Knife", "Beyond The Sea", "Lazy River", "If I Were A Carpenter", "Simple Song Of Freedom", "Queen Of The Hop", "Bill Bailey", "Multiplication", "Work Song", "Splish Splash" and "Dream Lover".
