Clyde Common PFA - Chef Carlo Lamagna Expands his Horizons
Carlo Lamagna has run Portland's landmark farm-to-table European style downtown spot, Clyde Common as Executive Chef since early 2014. He came to Portland from Chicago, where he was Executive Chef at Perennial Virant. He's a master with local produce and protients, and while his style fits in perfectly with our Northwest ethos, he still has a special place in his culinary heart for his native Filipino cuisine.
At this Portland Food Adventure, you'll start out with a welcome cocktail at Clyde Common between 5:30 and 6:15, boasting one of Portland's premiere bar programs. Then at 6:15 the group will walk a few steps down to the end of the block to Ace Cleaners for Chef Lamagna's paired six course feast that will feature Carlo stretching his boundaries and serving an all-out Filipino menu (don't worry, you'll have some signature Clyde Common bites at the welcome reception). It's Chef Carlo Lamagna's opportunity to step out of the box and shine, and it's your one time opportunity to experience Clyde Common this way.
Everyone will leave with gift certificates to Chef Lamagna's favorite places, including Noraneko , Pip's Original Donuts, Quin Candy, Jacobsen Salt and Bee Local.

NEW REFUND POLICY: Providing we are not sold out (because we would have been turning people away at this point) up to 10 days ahead of time, we will refund your ticket price less $20 per ticket service charge. Or, you may take a credit for a future event at full value. Less than 10 days prior to event: NO REFUNDS, but you may transfer your ticket to this event to someone else.
LEGAL STUFF (and SMOKING POLICY): Please read before buying tickets. We respectfully request that guests REFRAIN FROM SMOKING DURING THE EVENT (this means getting up during the dinner and going outside to smoke, and returning), as this is a communal dining experience. Portland Food Adventures reserves the right to refuse service to any patron who smokes or acts in an inappropriate manner. No refund will be given, since the restaurant will have planned the meal for a particular number of guests. Since this is a communal dining experience we ask you to be respectful of other guests and restaurant employees in every respect. There may be expiration dates for your certificates. See refund policy above. Buyers may call 503 208 4290 to change the name of the reservation at will-call up 24 hours before the event, if for whatever reason you choose to give the ticket to someone else.
By coming to this event, unless you request otherwise in writing, you acknowledge that there will be photographers at the event, and the use of your image in blogs or for any reasons is authorized by you. Please inform any guests for whom you are buying tickets.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: If the restaurant is open on the night of the event, the event goes on. Refunds or credits for a future events will be issued within a week after the event, only if the restaurant is closed on the night of the event due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
