Re-Crafting with Old Sweaters
If you think there is no hope for that odd fitting wool sweater or that one you accidentally shrunk in the wash - come to this workshop! Mary Kate Wheeler, local fiber and wood artist, will teach you how to unravel sweaters and reclaim the yarn to make something entirely new! She will also cover the basics of felting wool sweaters and how to make felted mittens, scarves and other projects. Bring an old sweater that you're ready to transform, and we'll provide some extras to practice different techniques!
