CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This class is about a creating a satisfying whip scene in a small space - for both partners - addressing the needs and pleasures for those who love to throw AND those who love to feel - or would like to feel - this special energy for the first time. It is for those who see the whip as a tool for a deeper, more profound release and a tool for romance, seduction and bonding.
The class includes presentation, Q & A and practice for both partners. Everyone who wants to throw or wants to feel a whip will have that opportunity!
Topics to be covered:
- Whip lengths and types and how to evaluate the best one for you
- The basic throw
- Crackers including how to make your own and switch them
- How to be an effective receiver! Presented by Alia
- Simple adjustments for a partner with physical limitations
- Whip safety
Attendees will be strongly encouraged to ask questions and participate in the class. If possible, we ask that you bring:
- Your own whip if available.
- Safety glasses.
- A hat
PRESENTER BIO:
Sir Robert has been active in the public kink scene since 1999. Deeply interested in whips, sensual play and power exchange, he picked up his first whip in 2004 and never let go. For ten years he has been pursuing the fundamentals of this unique tool, the elements of throwing and how to incorporate it in play. He describes himself as the "Decision Maker" in his power exchange relationships, and finds play to be one of the many ways to express these relationships. His interest in power exchange led him to become the moderator for smOdyssey's D/s in the Middle Discussion group in 2009, a position he continues to enjoy. He also serves his community by volunteering as a DM at various local events and conferences, and is currently the Head DM at the South Bay Spot.
Sir Robert has been presenting on whips and power exchange for several years at local events (several SM Odyssey events including 'tastings on whips and TPE; class on "Whipping the Prone Partner" at Billy De Frank) and internationally (at Conception 2012 and 2014, classes on sensual use of edge toys and beginning and advanced whip classes).
Alia will be Sir Robert's demo bottom and partner in this presentation. She has been active in the public kink scene since 2010 and proudly serving Sir Robert since August of that year. She identifies as a service oriented submissive with a love for sensual and edgy play. She volunteers when possible in her community and currently serves as the Promotions coordinator for the South Bay Spot.
While she is new to presenting in the scene, she has been a public speaker and doing presentations for several years in her professional vanilla life. Alia is in love with whips and what they can convey in a scene and very excited to share this with all of those who come.
