The Nightingale Dance Performance
The Hyde Park School of Dance and Artistic Director August Tye present a premiere of The Nightingale. Based on the literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson The Nightingale explores the story of an emperor who prefers the tinkling of a bejeweled mechanical bird to the song of a real nightingale. When the Emperor is near death, the nightingale's song restores his health. Perfect for children of all ages and adults! In addition to this wonderful premiere audience members will have the opportunity to view new works by HPSD's professional and pre-professional companies Tyego Dance Project and Tyego Next Generation! Group discounts available! Showtimes: Saturday March 13th at 4pm Sunday March 14th at 2pm
Adults: $20 Students (ages 5 18)/Seniors (age 65+) - $10 Children under 5 free Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount
Hyde Park School of Dance provides dance classes for children ages 18 months-adults at an accessible south side location. Dance styles included Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz and Yoga. College student discounts available!
