Clockwork
If you are a fan of the vocal group Manhattan Transfer, Clockwork is an award-winning quartet performing mostly close harmony jazz with a few of its own twists on pop and rock tunes. The "Clockwork Sound" is rooted in the tradition of great vocal jazz groups such as New York Voices, The HiLos, Singers Unlimited and Lambert, Hendricks and Ross. The talented two women and two men draw creative inspiration from the variety of musical and artistic experiences that have influenced each of them. The result is a fresh and entertaining new interpretation of the jazz vocal ensemble. Clockwork will be joined by Seattle's Clipper Anderson on bass and Mark Ivester on drums for a program of jazz standards, be-bop and blues.
