SPREZZATURA Screening at the Market Theater
Film maker, Michael Yaeger, will be showing his documentary SPREZZATURA at the Market Theater June 2nd during the Pike Place Market Festival. The film is a visual tour through the history, community and arcades of the Pike Place Market. It is being shown at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2007. The Seattle screening is in the historic Market Theater, home to Unexpected Productions. The Pike Place Market turns 100 this year, come down and enjoy this quirky and informative film, and enjoy the Market Festival.
Michael Yaeger is the honorary Mayor of Pike Place Market, he is an artist and runs Studio Solstone in the Atrium of the Market with his wife, Sarah Clementson. Together they produce the Pike Place Market Calendar which is sold throughout the West coast. Her watercolor paintings are throughout the documentary.
Ticket price of $5.00 gets you in the door and you can apply to that to the price of DVD's of the film for sale at Studio Solstone in the Market.
