RISD takes CHIFFEROBE

CHIFFEROBE like you've never seen it before...look forward to a night of fetish, fantasy, glamour and conceptual mayhem!

On this incredible night, visual arts performance and vintage culture collide as a group of nine incredible RISD students (of all disciplines) both perform at and curate Chifferobe! Kristen Minsky's class "Cabaret & the Avant Garde" is taking over.

For six weeks they will have had the "quick and dirty" experience of diving into Performance Art History and histories of Burlesque, the Sideshow or "10 in One", and the contemporary neo-vaudeville world. In addition, they will have made multiple performance works that explore persona, costume construction, location,etc., and that somehow expand upon their pre-existing individual practices.
