"Women Elders Offer Their Vision for Our Planet"
Two of the Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers will be in Seattle to raise awareness of their message and the important work of the Chief Seattle Club in making that message come to life. The event will include a screening of their film, "For the Next Seven Generations", and a discussion with the Grandmothers, who are First Nations elders and wisdomkeepers. A reception with follow. All ticket proceeds benefit the Chief Seattle Club, whose mission is to provide a sacred space to nurture, affirm and renew the spirit of urban Native Peoples. See www.chiefseattleclub.org.
