Dining and Drinking Under the Stars- A Brewers Pa'ina
A special beer and food pairing dinner, "Dining and Drinking Under the Start is being produced and held at the Keauhou Beach Resort from 6 to 9 pm. The dinner will set the table for the 16th Annual Kona Brewers Festival celebrated two days later, Saturday, March 12, 2011.
The outdoor feast will pair a diverse selection of Kona Brewing Company brews with pupus, salads, sides, entrees, and desserts. Many of the dishes will use beer as an ingredient. Hawaiian-style entertainment will round out the evening's festivities at the spectacular Keauhou Beach Resort, overlooking the ocean.
The Kona Brewers Festival, presented by Sunetric, is a community fundraising event made possible by the Bill Healy Foundaion to support the craft brewery revolution in Hawaii and encourages professional brewers and chefs to work together. The event raises funds for environmental, educational, and cultural organizations. It has raised more than $350,000 over the past 15 years.
