UTS Presents "Black Comedy"
By Peter Shaffer Directed by Joshua Schipper
DESCRIPTION On the biggest night off his life, Brindsley Miller is scheduled to show his sculptures to German millionaire George Bamberger, and to meet his fiancée, Carol's, pretentious father, Colonel Melkett, when the lights go out! Frantically, Brindsley and Carol must return furniture borrowed (without permission) from his persnickety neighbor, Harold, across the hall, and get the lights on before Bamberger arrives and Colonel Melkett decides to not give his daughter away. The night is filled with chaos, mistaken identity, fear, lies, surprises, and wicked hilarity.
