The Big Bang
Manhattan Comedy Collective is bringing smut and low comedy back to where it belongs – Times Square!

Saturday nights in May will be livelier than ever with the premiere of all new edition of the sketch comedy show, “Rick Murphy is in Asshole,” new comedy songs by Robin Gelfenbien and a performance by New York’s juiciest burlesque troupe – The Peach Tartes.

Jester Journal called the first edition of RICK MURPHY IS AN ASSHOLE  â€œhighly entertaining ... shows off a performer who probably has a lot of great work left in him.”

Starring Brooklyn comedian Rick Murphy, “Rick Murphy is an Asshole” is a “salute to the asshole,” in sketch, video and song. Scripted by writers for comedycentral.com, FuseTV and McSweeneys, this new edition features 25% more assholishness!

“Our show doesn’t point the fingers at assholes, but it celebrates them -- if only because there are so many of them around,” Murphy said. “And, let's face it, assholes get things done. That's why so many of them become bosses, world leaders, corporate executives, landlords, and people on the subway.”

The PEACH TARTES are a retro-ironic burlesque troupe featuring such dancers as Scarlett O’Gasm and more feathers, glitter, glam, glitz, moxie and pasties than you can shake your barely covered butt at. The ripe and ready and eminently pluckable Peach Tartes can be picked by you upcoming Saturday nights at MC².

“Rick Murphy is an Asshole” "Robin Gelfenbien" and the “Peach Tartes” will be at Manhattan Comedy Collective April 28, May 5, 12 and 19.  at 10 PM.

“Rick Murphy is an Asshole” stars Rick Murphy, with Lindsay Joy and Rob Bates. Directed by Jeremy Westphal. Written by Rick Murphy, Jeremy Westphal, Lindsay Joy and Rob Bates.
