Leveraging Social Media for Your Nonprofit
Join us to learn about about what social media is and to leverage it for your nonprofit.  In this program, we will share insights as to what social media is about, how you should be using it and, best of all, how to connect with key constituents like volunteers and donors. We will also share key tools that help protect you and your organization while using social media tools.

You will walk away from this program with insights on: (1) How and why social media is replacing traditional media for businesses; (2) Use of social media to enhance brand identity; (3) How to protect brand identity in social media circles; and (4) The risks of participating in social media and how to minimize them.

Presented by Michelle Hayden Bomberger, who is an experienced businesswoman turned lawyer and founder of Equinox Business Law Group (formerly Small Business Legal Services). Michelle began her career in business as a consultant with Ernst & Young LLP serving Fortune 500 clients and further deepened her knowledge of business operations as a Sen-ior Manager of Auditing Services at Cingular Wireless. Michelle founded Equinox in 2005 with a mission to help business owners and CEOs find balance in business. Michelle attended graduate school at Northwestern University in Chicago, obtaining a JD from the School of Law and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She has an undergraduate degree in Finance and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame. In 2009, Michelle was voted Best Lawyer by the readers of 425 Magazine.
