The All-Stars play the songs that were popular when Oakland's Seventh Street was a lively center of Bay Area nightlife. They'll also recall the characters (including a legendary Jewish music store owner who helped many artists get instruments in hard times), the integrated clubs, and the restaurants that made West Oakland buzz.
