3rd REEL BLACK PIX--Children's Films & Art at the Nick
Come out on Saturday, February 5, for a special day of Children's Films & Art at the Nickelodeon Theater from 10:00am-5:00pm as part of the 3rd REEL Black Pix series.
3rd REEL Black Pix: Global Afrikan Film Series, (RBP) will be held February 4-6, 2011. This Pan-Afrikan Film Festival is presented by HeTePu Productions, a Non-Profit Arts Organization run by The Amenwahsus, Baba Seitu and Sista Sufia, who use art as a teaching tool to promote good health, the ecology and understanding of Afrikan culture. They are artists who think that art is essential to the development of Humanity.
The REEL Black Pix: Global Afrikan Film Series shows films by or about Afrikan people from throughout the Diaspora, allowing an opportunity for people to travel the world without boarding a plane and get insights into diverse cultures of African and African Descendant people from around the globe. RBP is held annually during Black History Month, on the first weekend in February.
**Note: Tickets are valid for all screenings at the Nick taking place between 10am-5pm on February 5**
