Valentine's Show: Of Love & Accordions
Valentines Show! Featuring "Accordion Babes"
~Tara Linda &  Jetty Swart ~
From tangos and Tex-Mex, to Michael Jackson and French musette~
Come enjoy a sweet and zany night with performers Tara Linda & the Gila Monsters plus Jetty Swart as they take you around the world song by song- serenading and hugging bellows all the way. A show to make your heart swoon.

Tara Linda:
Equipped with a sultry voice, button accordion, and baritone ukulele, chanteuse Tara Linda plays original roots rock; blending spaghetti western and Latin torch.  A torch singer influenced by the early singers of American and Latin American cultures, Tara writes original music grounded in the Texas traditions she grew up with; Americana, blues, rock, and jazz. Tara writes new tangos, waltzes, and boleros for accordion, and skirts global genres to blend them into a style uniquely hers.
"Tara Linda songs are intelligent, sexy, funny, heart rending."  ~ Folk and Acoustic Music Exchange
"Mesmerizing" (Oakland Tribune/San Jose Mercury News)
"rich and "sultry vocals" (The Muse's Muse).

Jetty Swart:
Jetty Swart, who pronounces her first name "Yeti", was born in the port of Amsterdam. She thought of a career as a graphic designer but exchanged her computer for an accordion in Prague, and serenaded her way from Paris to Mexico before landing in San Francisco. She calls her music a "punk-style gypsy party where Nina Hagen, Edith Piaf and Kurt Weill meet".  She's hilarious, engaging, dramatic, energetic, touching and thoroughly original.
