Falling Petals by Erasing the Distance
Erasing the Distance presents Falling Petals: An exclusive theatrical event featuring veteran Chicago actors Anish Jethmalani and Christine Bunuan, adapted by Brighid O'Shaughnessy.
Join us for FALLING PETALS, a theatrical event that explores mental health and disability from a variety of Asian American perspectives, sharing real people's stories of mental illness, disability, challenges, resiliency, and community.
With visual art by Alfred Li Tsao, and a multi-lingual art installation by Meredith Siemsen.
Performed by Anish Jethmalani, Christine Bunuan, Phil de Guzman, Wannapa Eubanks, and Dwight Sora.
This event is sponsored by ADOPT and The Asian American Studies Dept at UIC. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

The event begins with a brief reception and time to view the artwork, immediately followed by the performance.
