The Room Plays
he Room Plays - Back by popular demand!
Scriptwriters/Houston, with the help of Artistic Director Nicholas Garelick, once again brings Houstonians a unique night of theatre in which audience members are guided through a home, stopping periodically to watch to watch 12 original plays (5-7 minutes each) written by local area playwrights. Each play was inspired by and takes place in a specific room in the home. Expect to see drama, comedies, suspense, and a hopefully unfrazzled homeowner!
Performances run April 17, 18, 24, and 25. There are four shows of 12 plays every night beginning every 30 minutes. Show times are 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm, and 8:30 pm
Our fabulous venue, in the Montrose area, is the home of Fernando Dovalina and Barry Browning 2015 Driscoll Street Houston TX 77019
Tickets are $15, $12 for students
For reservations, email Bob Inger at rjinger@gmail.com, preferably with the subject "Room Plays Reservations," or call 713-516-4065. Please include the night and time you wish to view the show. Walk-ups are welcome, but due to the nature of the show and the small size of the audience for each performance, reservations are highly encouraged. At this time, we will be unable to accept credit cards for the show, so we'll have to go cash only. Sorry for the inconvenience.
