Titanic
Second Fiddle is honored to bring to life this newly reworked, intimate musical telling of the passengers first, second and third class - aboard the ill-fated luxury liner Titanic in the nights leading up to the ship's fatal encounter with an iceberg in the North Atlantic in 1912. Through an ingenious doubling scheme, created by original Broadway cast member, Don Stephenson, Titanic Ensemble Version requires a cast of just 20 to tell the gripping story of the ocean liner's maiden voyage and tragic demise.
The Original Broadway Production of Titanic opened on Broadway April 23, 1997 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and ran 804 performances but closed at a loss, despite winning five Tony Awards (including Best Musical) and the release of James Cameron's film Titanic in December 1997.
