Join us at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center for an exciting and informative evening. Trevor's team studies the strategies by which toothed whales find food and avoid predators in the twilight and permanently dark zones of the pelagic ocean. This study is based in the deep-water channels of the northern Bahamas and provides an unprecedented window into the behaviors of some rarely observed marine mammals. Includes a discussion of Next Generation Science Standards connections and classroom activity ideas.
