SWEATING BULLETS - OPHELIA THEATRE GROUP
25 years ago it all started... now Vengeance is Coming!
Brace yourself my fellow humans! The Ophelia Theater Company is doing a workshop production of Nelson Diaz-Marcano's revenge saga "Sweating Bullets," an exploration of the American dream through the eyes of the underbelly of this society.
A decision made 25 years ago creates a ripple effect that ends in chaos and a bloodbath in modern day New York. A crime thriller that makes you ask yourself what are you willing to do to reach your goals and who is expendable to reach it?
Directed by Michelle Karst, this workshop production is the next step of the evolution of this work on the way to a full production later this year. The first night (May 8) will be followed by a talk back with the director, writer, and the cast. The second night (May 9) the director and writer will go to a yet undetermined location to drink, be merry, and listen to all of your opinions.
Be there to experience this explosive new play and witness the start of Ophelia's new artist outreach in Astoria.
The Ophelia Theater entrance and parking lot for The Fox and Boulder is located in the Variety Boys and Girls Club parking lot off of 21st St.
