The Marsh presents Marsh Youth Theater's "Siddhartha, the Bright Path," the story of Siddhartha Gotama, the man who became Buddha. Born into royalty, Siddhartha devoted his life to discovering the causes of human suffering. This unique musical theater production includes a parallel story of a modern San Francisco girl who finds herself posing the same questions. Siddhartha features Indian music, kathak dance and visual art. Created by Danny Duncan, Emily Klion, Lisa Quoresimo, Joanna Meinl, John Ramirez, Susana Aragon, George Brooks and Javad Butah. Performed by MYT's 2007 MainStage Performance Ensemble, Emily Klion, Director.
