Cali Agents w/ Durag Dynasty, Replacement Killers, Lyric Jones, TopR & Free the Optimus
Cali Agents (Official)

Jason Green , better known as Planet Asia, is a rapper from Fresno, California. He is prominent for being one half of the now broken up hip-hop duo the Cali Agents and is currently a member of the groups Gold Chain Military and Durag Dynasty. He is also well known for his vast discography of mixtapes.

Mateo native Rasco (whose name is an acronym for "realistic, ambitious, serious, cautious, and organized") worked as a member of the West Coast hip hop groups Various Blends and Cali Agents. His deep voice and straightahead rap style came to the public's attention with his 1997 12" "The Unassisted", which earned him several honors including number one on the Bay Area Hip Hop Coalition chart, number one on the independent hip hop chart in Hits magazine, and number one on Sway and King Tech's nationally syndicated Wake Up Show for four weeks straight. His debut album "Time Waits for No Man" was released in 1998 on Stones Throw with a production team that included Paul Nice, Peanut
Butter Wolf, and Evidence of the group Dilated Peoples. The
followup EP "The Birth" arrived in 1999. Moving from Stones
Throw to Copasetik, Rasco released "Hostile Environment" (2001)
and "Presents HipHop Classics, Vol. 1" (2003). But after a fallingout
with the label, he left to start his own, Pocketslinted, in 2004.
That same year he issued the compilations "20,000 Leagues Under
the Street, Vol. 1" (a rerelease from 2000) and "Minority Report".
In 2005 his solo effort "The Dick Swanson Theory" came out on
Pocketslinted. Since his last Solo Lp Rasco soon after re teamed
with Plane Asia to drop their 3rd album entitled
"Fire & Ice" in 2007.
In addition to all his solo projects, Rasco contributed to Linkin
Park's Platinum selling remix album "Reanimiation". Rasco has
been lauded by the critics, including SPIN, The Source, VIBE, Hip
Hop Connection, URB,among many others.
Now Rasco is back in 2010 with his latest offering "Global Threat".
This is Rasco's 6th solo effort and proves to be his best to date.
Like any true artist, Rasco pushes himself on his new record to
places he hasn't gone before. 2010 Looks to be a promising year in
Independent Hip Hop and Rasco is sure to be at the head of the
pack when it is all said and done.

TOPR:

A freestyle master who started rhyming in 1988, TOPR burst onto the San Francisco scene in 1993 as Top Ramen. Quickly gaining notoriety in battle circles, he consistently embarrassed the competition with his quick-witted lyrics and scathing delivery. A founding member of the The Earthlings and Gurp City hip hop collectives from San Francisco, he has helped build their reputation as dynamic live performers opening up for such hip hop legends as KRS ONE, LL Cool J, De La Soul, Kool Keith, Goodie Mob, Rakim, Organized Konfusion, Eminem, Ghostface Killah, Pharaoh Monch and countless others. A headlining act in many national markets, he also has toured extensivally with Living Legends, Awol One, Heiroglyphics, Glue, GFE, Atmosphere, The Artifacts, Non Phixion etc.. He is active in the world wide emcee battle community, with an undefeated record in the well known Grind Time league. TOPR and his music also appeared in the films Quality of Life and the graffiti documentary Piece by Piece. His music draws inspiration from a wide variety of sources including stand up comedy, punk rock and film. His Past releases include Donut Hustlers w/ DJ NonPhenom, Burning the Candle at Both Ends, Legalize Murder, Cheap Laughs for Dead Comedians, The Marathon of Shame and L Ron Hustler.
The Bay Area independant music and graffiti icon is currently recording his 7th full length studio album, entitled "Life of the Party". He currently resides in Asheville, NC where he spends most of his time complaining about the food, drinking inhuman amounts of irish whiskey and painting trains.
"Each (TOPR) track is an anthem of hedonistic individualism, a contradictory self-affirmation of pride and despair, intense motivation and ultimate fatalism, all driven by a serious bent to rap, write (graffiti and get on gurp). TOPR is a reminder of what bay area indie rap can and should be."-Mesh Magazine

Free The Optimus

Free the Optimus is an Asheville, NC based hip hop collective focused on bringing improvisational lyricism to jazz influenced boom bap soundscapes. In a world full of facades, FTO's focus is on delivering a message that resonates with both the reality of today and the dreams of tomorrow. C.Shreve defines Free the Optimus as "a call to actionto set free our optimal ability & our optimistic perspective, and to transform the world around us."

In live performance form, FTO consists of C.Shreve the Professor and Mike L!VE on vocals, DJ Jet on the turntables (in true vinyl DJ mode), and a rotating selection of guest MCs and musicians. The jazz (and hip hop) mindset of free form improvisation and collaboration is a vital component to the Free the Optimus live experience, as songs and structure are often tossed aside in favor of the energy and groove of the moment.

FTO tours constantly and has shared stages with Cannibal Ox, A-Plus (Souls of Mischief), Casual (Hieroglyphics), Three 6 Mafia, Illogic, Tanya Morgan, Rapper Big Pooh, Gift of Gab, and many more.

Free The Optimus is currently recording a full length project titled FTOLive which will be released in July 2015.
