Acclaimed poet Ntozake Shange and author of the award winning play "for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf: a choreopoem" joins cultural critic, urbanista and writer Michaela angela Davis for an engaging conversation discussing inspirations for Shange's past and current work. Shange will also do a reading from her most recent book "Some Sing, Some Cry". $10, which includes Museum Admission, $6 for members and cultural colleagues. Limited seating; advance ticket purchase recommended.
