TPR Cinema Tuesdays Series: Anatomy of a Murder
The 2015 TPR Cinema Tuesdays Series continues with Otto Preminger's "Anatomy of a Murder."
The film follows a murder trial in which the defendant says he suffered temporary insanity after the victim raped his wife. The cast includes James Stewart, Lee Remick, Ben Gazzara, Eve Arden and George C. Scott.
The jazzy soundtrack by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn won three Grammy awards. Strayhorn's nephew Larry Strayhorn will join us at the theater to speak about the music and its impact.
Tickets are available for a suggested price of $10 for TPR Members and $15 for non-members. Proceeds benefit Texas Public Radio.
