Fade to Black
Gotham Dance Theater will be making its world premiere in Fade to Black at The Tank NYC in Times Square on Friday and Saturday, May 15 and 16, 2015 at 9pm. Fade to Black is inspired by the arteries of New York City, the subway system, where millions of people from diverse racial, social, and economic backgrounds inevitably share one common destination. Fade to Black is a theatrical dance production that shares stories about love, conflict, apathy, and compassion through contemporary dance.
Founded in 2015, Gotham Dance Theater is an urban contemporary dance company and strives to embrace the diversity of the city it represents - New York City. Gotham Dance Theater is a not-for-profit organization. All proceeds go toward funding rehearsal and class spaces, artist stipends, and the advancement of Gotham Dance Theater.

The creation of Gotham Dance Theater was led in part by the xyz nyc dance series held at The Tank. Marc Andrew Nuñez was the winning choreographer in May 2014, which resulted in winning a two-night event at The Tank.
