Awards Dinner Only: $200.00 per person This ticket price grants you access to a sit down awards dinner on May 19th at 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Three Workshops on May 19th: $99.00 per person This ticket price grants you access to one or all three workshops.
Workshops and Awards Dinner: $250.00 per person This ticket price grants you access to three workshops awards dinner.
Workshops:
- Innovative Exporting for the new Millennium (1:00pm - 2:00pm)
Learn how to sell to the 95% of the world's population that lives outside of the U.S. The panel will consists of representatives of the continents of Asia, Africa and South & Central America. They will describe the needs of the different countries and what they are presently buying. The panel will be moderated by a representative of U.S. Commercial Service, a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
- Financing that Fits (2:15pm - 3:15pm)
Receive information on highly specialized financing opportunities for small and minority owned firms. You will hear from the Export Import Bank, one of the few government agencies that will lend directly to businesses. We will also have a Crowdfunding expert on hand to let you know the latest rule changes and how they affect capital formation for small business.
- Measure R Contracts: Understanding the Design-Build Bid Process (3:30pm - 4:30pm)
Learn how the major construction companies build their teams for the over $40 Billion in transportation projects that will come to fruition over the next 25 years. Some of the topics will include, DBE Goals-How much money does this translate to, how does Design Build differ from Bid-Build, Short term versus long term opportunities, and upcoming projects and estimated dates.
