Open meeting formats that include opting-in and real dialogue are great way to socialize change more quickly in your organization. These meeting typically utilize a facilitator to "create the space" and help the participants enjoy themselves. Open meeting formats like Open Space and "World Cafe" are great for socializing organizational change.
You can convene facilitated meetings like this inside your organization to socialize a discussion around "hot" items that directly effect people. For example, if you begin to move towards considering usig Agile co-located space, World Cafe is a great format for successfully socializing this idea.
In this session, these open-meeting formats are presented, and then we'll do a group exercise to give you some direct experience with these formats.
