Here is the list of scheduled bands that will perform!
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 3rd
THE JULIETTES - The Juliettes are ready to kick off Finapalooza III and give you a show that you will never forget! Imagine Green Day splicing their music with the Go-Go's. Mad Men meets Mad Max. Add a dash of Chanel #5, a Sapphire martini and a Cuban cigar. Delicious. Put on your mink coat, we won't judge you. Strap on your power-pumps. Red lipstick? Apply liberally. Now get ready to rock! This all-women Seattle-based band will leave you wanting more!
THE CORY WILDS BAND - This energetic trio performs classic rock and roll the way it was meant to be heard. If you are a fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan and other blues influenced rockers then you should NOT miss this talented band. For those of you who witnessed their last few shows at Finaghty's then you know what we are talking about!
THE FABULOUS JOHNSONS - Led by 'BAD COMPANY' bassist Lynn Sorenson, The Fabulous Johnsons will unleash their own brand of classic rock from Zeppelin to Nirvana! They will be plugged in and ready to ROCK!
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 4th
THE LEFT COAST GYPSIES - Local Snoqualmie band with influences of blues, folk, rock and metal thrown in for good measure! The Left Coast Gypsies are certainly one of the hidden musical gems of the Snoqualmie Valley! How can Neil Young be wrong about that?
THE DEADCOATS - Former 'Love Trucker' members Gabe Averre and Chris Merrill have returned with a vengeance! If you were a LT fan, then you will be blown away by The Deadcoats! This four-piece Portland OR. band will light up the stage with their blues-pop inspired rock and roll originals!
KASEY ANDERSON & THE HONKIES - Mix together equal parts of 'The Rolling Stones', 'The Burrito Brothers' and 'Tom Waits'. Now that is what you would call straight ahead rock and roll! As Kasey simply puts it- "I just wanted to write songs where people couldn't use the words 'twang' or 'roots rock' to describe it."
Comprised of Kasey Anderson (vocals, guitar, percussion), Andrew McKeag (guitar, vocals), Eric Corson (bass), and Mike Musburger (drums), Kasey Anderson & The Honkies bring a wealth of a "who's who" of Northwest rock. McKeag has spent time in Presidents of the United States of America and The Long Winters, Corson in The Long Winters and, of course, Musburger from The Fastbacks, Young Fresh Fellows, The Posies, The Supersuckers, and countless other cult Seattle power-pop and indie-rock bands.
Catch them at Finapalooza III before they hit the road on their 2011 tour across the U.S. and Europe!
THE RAIN KINGS - Rising from the ashes of 'HiWatt' comes The Rain Kings! Finapalooza III will mark the debut of the newest Seattle cover band. They will perform your favorite Modern and Relevant Dance Rock but, think of Matchbox 20, The Killers, Counting Crows, Collective Soul, and of course the Kings of Leon. Good times and GREAT music with high energy!
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 5th
KEITH SCOTT - Veteran Chicago-based bluesman returns to kick off our Saturday show with his own brand of energetic original and classic blues music!
THE PO'OKELA STREET BAND - Let's pretend it's Summer and it's time to enjoy a little reggae! These guys always leave the crowd wanting more, so we asked them to return again for another amazing night of music! They are known for their own brand of Hawaiian-influenced Reggae Music that brings everyone to their feet! Enjoy with a Corona in hand!
THE ROBERT STEWART BAND - Super-smooth soul infused R&B originals and classics. The RSB brings it all with style and energy!
COBIRDS UNITE - A Pacific Northwest songwriting mainstay Rusty Willoughby and Visqueen's front woman, Rachel Flotard combined their vocal and songwriting talents together and Cobirds Unite is the result. The music is a wonderful collection of lush, intelligent, Americana loneliness. With vibraphone, cello, and pedal steel in all the right places, there's a cinematic quality to it that lends itself to introspection and quiet beauty. The lyrics are sung as nearly line-for-line duets. Cobirds Unite will be a 'don't miss' musical experience!
EVERCLEAR-UNPLUGGED! - Legendary Everclear front man Art Alexakis returns to his favorite pub to perform a rare acoustic and energetic show featuring the best known original Everclear songs. You may even hear newly penned songs too! Art will be joined by fellow band mate and lead guitarist Davey French. See and hear Art at his genuine best!
SHOTTY - Shotty is a 3-piece high powered Seattle rock band featuring heart-felt melodies, dynamic instrumentation, and the kind of passion and emotion that can stop you in your tracks. With a truly unique brand of songwriting, this band is hard to pin down, and they'll always have you excited to see what's coming next. Shotty has played up and down the West Coast with appearances at the legendary Whisky A Go Go and The Viper Room and is a local favorite among City Planners, All-Ages Venues, and of course Finaghty's!
