UC NYC Summer Program
Experience first-hand New York history as a performing arts cultural capital. In addition to studying NY performance history and literature, attend performances accompanied by lecture/discussion. Get backstage tours, meet important players and learn how productions go from vision to reality.
This class takes place in New York City to immerse students in the importance of the performing arts to this cultural capital and American history. Like all travel education, this class exposes students to a world of learning perhaps unfamiliar to them. Students will be able to connect with possible mentors and see cutting edge performances while remaining in the UC environment.
