Punk As Folk 2015

Silent City Productions is proud to present the fourth annual installment of Punk As Folk, an annual celebration of punk-inspired folk music and folk-inspired punk music to coincide with the Northwest Folklife Festival.

This year, Punk As Folk returns to Conor Byrnes in Ballard with a solid lineup of the Pacific Northwest's finest punk/folk stalwarts:

The Pickpocket Revue (featuring members of The Bad Things, The Mongrel Jews, The Debaucherauntes & Bakelite 78)

We're proud to welcome folk/punk pioneer Danbert Nobacon, co-founder of Leeds-based anarcho-punk/pop/folk collective Chumbawamba, back for his third year. Danbert will act as MC while also providing acoustic solo numbers between bands. He will then be joined at the end of the night by The Pickpocket Revue, a folk/punk supergroup that will be performing songs by Danbert, Chumbawamba, The Clash, The Pogues, Cock Sparrer and more.
