Sherman Holmes Project with Phil Wiggins and Brooks Long + The Harris Brothers
The Blue Ridge Music Center presents an evening of blues and brother acts; featuring a tribute to the music of the Christchurch VA based National Heritage Award winning blues and gospel-soul band, The Holmes Brothers, with special guest The Harris Brothers.
For nearly 40 years, The Holmes Brothers expertly blend Saturday night's roadhouse rock and blues with the gospel passion of Sunday morning's church service. For this show, Sherman Holmes is teaming with Piedmont Blues legend and Virginia-based master harmonica player Phil Wiggins (Cephas & Wiggins) and Brooks Long to celebrate the legacy of the original band and their soulful blues and gospel music.

The Harris Brothers -
Brothers Reggie and Ryan Harris were born and raised in Western North Carolina. Their infinite live repertoire consists of genres including traditional roots music, rock & roll, jazz, blues, Appalachian mountain music, vintage country, and bluegrass. A typical live show effortlessly shifts from original tunes to their own arrangements of songs from all sides of the Americana musical spectrum.
