Erik Jekabson's New Orleans Quintet with Kenny Washington

Vocalist extraordinaire and New Orleans native, Kenny Washington will team up with Erik Jekabson, trumpeter, composer and former New Orleans resident , to take you to the French Quarter. Stroll the bayou with moss covered vines and tall sugar pines. Mardi Gras may be over, but the feel is just right for a night in the Big Easy.

Kenny Washington may be from New Orleans, but lately Jazz at the Lincoln Center is a frequent haunt. He travels world-wide but calls Oakland home. This gem is the best of the best.

Erik also calls the Bay Area home, but composes, plays and has toured internationally with Illinois Jacquet & John Mayer.

They will be joined by Dan Zemelman on piano, Doug Stuart on bass and Smith Dobson on drums.
