Developing Nerdlesque
Taking that spark of an idea and turning it into a burlesque act can be a tough task, and there's an extra challenge when you want to portray a character from pop culture.
This workshop will help you go from a character or concept to a thoroughly rounded nerdlesque routine.
Along with act concepts, we will delve into costuming and how to turn screen and comic costumes into burlesque glamour more suited for stripping.
Delicia Pastiche is one of the founders of Toronto's Nerd Girl Burlesque and a cosplayer and burlesque costumer. She has performed coast to coast in Canada and the US and specializes in story-driven nerdlesque.
