2011 Jazz in the Mills Concert Series
Jazz in the Mills will WOW you with melodious sounds and the inexhaustible talent of our performers. We invite you to be a part of our exciting Sunday evening Jazz series held at The Other Barn in Oakland Mills.
THe Jazz in the Mills Series is sponsored by the Oakland Mills Community Association and the Jazz in the Mills subcommittee. Ms. Lavenia Nesmith is the concert series coordinator.
Wine and soft drinks as well as snacks are available for purchase at each concert.
Patrons who purchase 8 or more tickets will receive reserved seating. Non-profit groups who pre-sell a minimum of 25 tickets will receive a donation back to their non-profit organization.
Concerts are from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The 2011 Jazz in the Mills Concert dates/performers are:

Sunday, April 17: The Lavenia Nesmith Quintet
Sunday, June 26: Julie Hall and Friends
Sunday, August 14: The James King Group
Sunday, October 23: Sandra Y. Johnson
Sunday, Dec. 4: Holiday Jazz Extravaganza with Davey Yarborough and friends featuring Esther Williams
Tickets are $15.00 in advance (plus Brown Paper Ticket fee) and $20 at the door.
Special discount for advance purchase of the entire Jazz Series is $80.00.
