Daisy Productions Presents 'Fourplay,' a Series of One-Act Plays, Featuring Original Works & David Ives' Sure Thing & Scott Fivelson's Dial L for Latch Key. Toronto-based production company, Daisy Productions, announces its 7th production, a series of one-act plays titled 'Fourplay'. The production features four comedic one-act plays, including David Ives' famed Sure Thing and Toronto's first production of Scott Fivelson's acclaimed Dial L for Latch-Key. Premiering at the Tranzac Club, May 28th - 30th, 2015 and featuring an assembly of talented actors, 'Fourplay' is sure to have something for everyone! Much Ado About Cooties written by Maddox Campbell. We all know Shakespeare was the greatest writer of all time, ever, in the whole universe, always. That's why it is so lucky that a local theatre troupe has discovered his first, never before read, play. You know the one he wrote while he was still in kindergarten. Dial L for Latch Key written by Scott Fivelson She dialled "M" for "Murder". (Damned auto-correct!) Instead, she got "L" for "Latch-key". This irreverent, surreal, self-aware mash-up of Hitchcock's classics includes a plotting husband, a framed wife and an inspector straight out of Monty Python. "Hitch" would be spinning in his grave, if he weren't suiting up for his cameo. Sure Thing written by David Ives Written in 1988, but as timely as ever, Sure Thing explores the importance of timing, second, third and even fourth chances in this brilliant comedy. Bill enters a crowded cafe only to discover charming, young Betty reading Faulkner at a table. Will he find love or is this chance encounter ill-timed? When I'm Gone, Will Anyone Notice? written by Lisa Hagen Two, old women, who talk like truckers, plan their escape from a retirement home. During the course of the conspiracy they explore what they've done with life and what there is left to do. In the end, does anyone notice?
