Learn How to Use PowerPoint for Effective Presentations -- Ed Cabrera
Do you want to make your presentation one to remember? PowerPoint gives you the ability to create a powerful visual aid that can help make your presentation the best it can be. Getting the most out of PowerPoint takes some time, but with a little training and experimentation, you can have a unique and effective presentation. This class is a general overview of the most popular software program used to create presentations. You will be taken from the inception of an idea to a finished presentation. After a general presentation about how PowerPoint works, you will learn about the common mistakes presenters make (and how to avoid them) when using the PowerPoint software program, such as: font size, color, construction, animation. This will be a hands-on class so whether you are a PC or Mac user, you will learn how to do a PowerPoint presentation by the end of it. Ed Cabrera recently finished a 36 year career as an instructor in secondary education with a last stop at Atascadero High School. Tuesday May 5, 2015, 10:30am - 12 noon SLO Adult School
