White Nights: Baroque Reflection
The Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia's "White Nights" festival continues with "Baroque Reflections," a concert contrasting elegant Baroque music from Sweden and Denmark with bold Russian and Scandinavian music for solo instruments. The concert features Baroque performances on period instruments and will be held in the charming and intimate setting of the historic Wilton House Museum.
"White Nights" is one of the chamber music festivals CMSCVA presents annually, this year programmed around the joyous and soulful music of the world's most Northern countries - the lands of the midnight sun! The festival brings together nine celebrated musicians - international competition winners, favorite performers from Richmond's classical music scene, and world-class soloists - to bring this thrilling music to life in concerts in our modernist venue at the First Unitarian Church, the historic Wilton House museum, and the Gellman Room of the Main Public Library in downtown Richmond
