After being dispossesed of her lands and station, the princess Rosalind dresses as a boy and flees into the forest of Arden to search for a better kind of love. The play interrogates the very idea of what love is, and in the end leaves us with a shimmering vision of four kinds of relationships.
Witness As You Like It in the windswept greenery of the Prospect Park Music Pagoda. We are throwing the event as a garden party, and the festive show will feature feasting and dancing with the cast. The play is jubilant and perfect for families and children. Come play in our forest of Arden!
ATTN: seating at the show is limited. Please bring blankets, crazy creek chairs, pillows, and any other camping equipment if you can. And don't forget extra layers in case the weather is unpredictable!
