CT ROLLERGIRLS BOOT CAMP TRY OUT PACKAGE

This pass is good for any two boot camps, and admission to tryouts!

New to roller skating or roller derby? Have you ever wanted to join this exciting sport but didn't know where to start? This boot camp is for you!

CT Rollergirls will teach you how to skate, and the fundamentals of skating to ensure that it is safe for you to start making contact. Practices will cover basic skating skills, and help you break a sweat, too! Skaters will work on skating skills, balance, falls, controlled stops to prepare participants for tryouts on May 17th.

Boot Camp Dates are:
April 28th 8-9:30pm
April 30th 8-9:30pm
May 7th 8-9:30
May 14th 8-9:30

You must have your own skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and mouthguard.

On Tryout day:
Prospective skaters and officials will be evaluated based on their skating skills, coachability, and improvement over the course of the tryout process.

To try out you must:
- have health insurance
- be over 18
- identify as a woman (*skaters only. Non-female identified skates are welcome to try out as referees
- pre-register (standby for registration info)
