BEGINNING STAGE PUPPETEERING
Saturday, May 16th
1-3pm

COST: $45 pre-reg/$55 day-of

In this fun, dynamic class, you'll learn the foundations of good stage puppetry - focus, physical commitment and basic puppet operation. Together we'll work on how to make your puppet seem alive and connect with the audience. You'll get lots of hands-on time with professional arm-and-rod puppets plus a simple practice puppet to take home so you can keep working on your skills.

No puppet experience required.
Class recommended for ages 15 and up.
Please dress comfortably and be ready to move.

Class size limited to 8. Minimum enrollment: 3 students.

***FAQs***
- Do I have to bring my own puppet?
No. There will be plenty o' puppets provided to play with. However, if you have your own arm and rod puppet friend, you are absolutely welcome to bring them to class with you.

- Will we be building puppets in this class?
No.

- Do I have to be good at funny voices?
Nope. We'll be focusing on physical work in this class, so you can puppeteer using whatever voice is comfy (funny voice, normal voice, super serious voice, etc).

- What if I really _want_ to learn funny voices?
We have another class just for that: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1433877
