Aveda Michigan- 5K Fun Run & Walk for Water
Did you know the world's largest source of surface fresh water is all in our backyard. The Five Great Lakes supply for more than 40 million Americans and Canadians. The Great Lakes need our help! Pollution runs off the land into the lakes, compromising our safe drinking water. Invasive species, especially Asian carp, are at our regions doorstep. And climate change is changing the lakes before our eyes.
Help us protect what you love! Please join local Aveda salons on Sunday May 17th 2015 for a 5K Fun Run and Walk for Clean Water. 100% of proceeds raised will be donated to our local Earth month partner the Alliance for the Great Lakes.
Location: Kensington Metro Park 2240 W Buno Rd | Milford
*Picnic/Shelter Area P West Boat Launch
($7 per car entry fee into park)
9am Registration | 10am RACE BEGINS
*Pre-register by May 1st to get your T-Shirt.
*Registrations day of race will NOT receive a T-shirt.
